Simon ‘Se’ydou’ Mukali is a Film Director and Writer based in Nairobi, Kenya. He has worked for over a decade in East Africa making productions for television and film. His work has enabled him to work in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, as well as showcasing content to a pan African and global audience on television, film festivals and VOD networks such as Netflix. He has won several awards, most recently with his feature film, Veve. His most recent work, Saving Stripes, is a wildlife conservation documentary about a community’s fight to save the endangered Grevy’s zebra.
He's currently developing his next feature film and a documentary.
