Graduating Pretoria Film & TV School in 1996, Michael has been involved in numerous South African TV shows as writer, director, animator & editor. He also wrote, directed & edited 'Man in the Street', a micro-budget feature screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2003. South Africa's first ever animated feature, 'Tengers', was Michael's brainchild and pet project from 1999-2007. Selected for over 30 international festivals, it went on to win 4 of them. Since 'Tengers', Michael has written, produced, directed, and/or edited various shorts and features including: 'Teddy' (Short); 'The Game of My Life' (Feature); 'Strings' (Animated short); 'Bipolar' (Animated short); 'Mad Cow' (Feature); 'Double Click' (Animated short) and 'Accession' (Feature).
