Rob is a filmmaker who writes, directs, and produces creative work of various forms. Starting out when he completed his University degree with distinction, he held several positions in production before spending six years as a Talent Agent for a leading Australian agency. From there, he has finished work such as short films, music videos, web based videos, a web series trailer which made the top 15 finalists of Movie Extra Webfest 2011, and corporate and training videos. During 2012 he directed a full season of live-to-air TV series Footy Tragic, a music video for a local Melbourne band, and two new short films For Evie and Courage. This year he finished third in the MOFILM Unilever Cannes competition writing and directing a 60 second online spot for Unilever, directed a corporate documentary for a health food company, received a first round score of 9.1/10 in the Creative World Awards screenwriting competition, and directed several education videos for Open University Australia’s Open 2 Study online study program.
He is currently freelancing in the industry, and recently has worked for some of Australia's best TV production companies including Shine Australia and Brand New Studios.
And no, Rob doesn't usually speak in the third person.
