About Aleix

Born in Barcelona, Spain in 1982 began his carrer as makeup artist at age 16 working for low budget shorts and some fashion sessions.
At 20 he was introduced to David Martí and Montse Ribe's DDT team and start working there and taking skills to be a special effects makeup artist.
In 2007 DDT team won an Oscar award for their work in Pan's Labyrinth,
Next year Aleix opened Zero SFX half workshop, half sfx school, being one of the bests schools in Spain.
Nowadays still works in his own big and beautiful workshop! ;)
