Silent Justice By: Louella M Reynolds Charles Jackson, 65 African-American, Vietnam era sniper and Texas Ranger, has just helped convict Naldo Chavez, brother of Mexican drug lord, Rico Chavez; whose drugs his son had overdosed on. Before a celebration dinner can start, Charles’ wife is assaulted and Charles’ is taken hostage by Rico Chavez’s men. Frank Baker, 65 white American, Vietnam era sniper and expert with whips, Charles’s best friend, is dealing with the onset of Parkinson’s. Wamblee ‘W’ Smith, 40 Sioux descent and short-tempered, Texas Ranger, expert in bow and arrow and pistols, and Quinton ‘Quint’ Gonzalez, 35 Mexican descent, private investigator, expert in knives and rifles join Frank in rescue operation. Captain Hobart, 50s Texas Ranger, receives a ransom call saying Rico will trade Charles for Naldo. Wamblee and Frank go to the prison to talk to Naldo in an effort to get information from him about Charles. Wamblee gets ‘leave without pay’ for brutally beating Naldo. Frank decides they can’t wait for the law to investigate and teams up with W and Quint to travel by horseback into Mexico to save his friend. Using night-vision goggles, they travel at night and stay in hiding during the day. They uncover a human trafficking ring being disguised as a dog food. Wamblee stops the truck with an arrow, Frank uses his whip to pull driver out and Quinton uses knife skills to pin second man who fires at them to the fender of the truck - calling themselves ‘Silent Justice.’ Quinton goes undercover as the guard of the truck with Rafael Garcia, 60s Mexican and driver for Rico’s operation, to gain more information about the operation. Returning, Rafael is set free, the truck is hidden and the guard is duck taped to the steering wheel. Having found out about the rescue mission, Rachel Jackson, 30s African-American and expert with Sai daggers, catches up with the rescue team and is not very welcome by Quinton who is her constant rival over who is the better knife/dagger thrower. The two have a love-hate relationship. Emilio, Rico’s right-hand-man, finds the truck, gets information for the guard, and torches the truck with the driver still taped to the wheel. Their presence now known in Mexico, they are pursued by Emilio who is always one step behind. Rafael Garcia is snared when he ends up at an old farm where the team is hiding. Rafael helps them locate Rico’s drug operations and house. The men take the underground drug lab, a shoot-out entails and the place burns and explodes. Rachel was to stay behind but rides up with the horses just in time. Rico is enraged about the incidents and has Emilio murdered by Calvino; Rico’s main heavy-weight. The team goes to Rico’s house. Using their silent weapons expertise, the three take down the guards. Frank and Wamblee enter the house. When Rico is confronted, he signals for more guards and a shoot-out ensues and Rico escapes the house. Quinton was sent to get Charles and the slaves free from the underground cells. Helping Charles to walk, Quinton accidentally drops his rifle and is confronted by a guard with an assault rifle. The guard is taken down by one of Rachel’s daggers to the back of the head. Rico is about to take off in his helicopter. Calvino grabs the helicopter landing skid, and Rico shoots him. A now rescued and badly beaten Charles, with the assistance of his spotter, Frank, shoots Rico sniper style. Rafael loads up all the enslaved men and drives them away and the Americans ride back to Texas. The team goes to the hospital to see Charles’ wife; who is still unconscious. Frank’s wife is happy to see him and reveals that they will be grandparents. Captain Hobart arrives at the hospital and Quinton takes him away to tell him about the human trafficking operation. The Texas Rangers and FBI seize a dog food truck that is smuggling females into the US. Captain Hobart asks Wamblee to come back to the Rangers. Charles and Rachel hold a baby shower. Izzabell is in a wheel chair and still not speaking. There is much confusion of trying to find out what ‘W’ stands for in Wamblee’s name. Izzabell finally speaks and tells everyone that it means Wamblee, which creates chaos in the room; topped off with the mother-to-be’s water breaking.
