New York City is my home, but I'm bi-coastal and currently in Los Angeles and hope to return for awhile to NYC in the late fall...I wish there was a current city choice...bi-coastal...maybe they'll add it as a choice.. I started out in life wanting to be a fashion designer but found myself majoring in Theater. I hold a B.A. in theater, and other degrees non-related. I'm an actor (member of AEA/SAG-AFTRA) I started writing a few years ago while in a wheel chair after a fracture and ended up selling my script "RAPsody" to Powder Dog Productions of London and then wrote two scripts with my writer/producer husband. While he was doing a Web series I wanted to do costumes and set decoration but the Director didn't want anyone doing that at all....so I got mad and decided to do my own Web series Pink Slip...I wrote the script, produced it myself, did all of the pre-production work normally done by a 2nd AD by myself...and why? It saved money....I story boarded it myself and was the Production Designer and the Director too....this was my first experience as Producer, Production Designer and Director in film or video. I have directed theater.previously and as an actor I knew I could do this....although I had to learn the technical aspects of directing for film on the job which was a lot of fun especially since I had the most supportive crew. I've just put up the final episode of this Web series and in a few weeks plan to take a brief vacation and then back to work on a couple of new projects..one a computer animated film of a script written with my husband...I'll do most.of The female voices,.and hire others for the rest of the character's. I'm also writing another script called "Paper Bullets"....a war story.
