Mirko Jaetschmann

I am a Berlin native and illustrated my first book at age seven. By age 11, my focus expanded to film, when I discovered my love for movies and began to experiment with a 16mm camera. Later, I caught the acting bug and worked as a bit player at the Deutsches Theater Berlin as well as for several German television productions. Since 2012, I have been devoted to screenwriting, supplementing my practical experience with classes at the Filmgeist Akademie (formerly known as Drehbuchschule Berlin) during which I wrote scripts for short films and my first script for a full-lenght feature film. At the moment, I am part of an international movie production as co-writer and creative producer.
