About Selena

I'm an actress and writer who has had a ton of (life) experience in my short time here. I've had theatrical training in Antwerp where I lived for a few years, have lived in multiple states and locations, and have finally settled in the Los Angeles area. For my day job, I run my own company that's focused on marketing/seo/consulting/content strategy for businesses of all sizes, which has given me the flexibility to start actively working on the creative side of my life. I'm also a professional speaker and I speak at a few marketing conferences each year on storytelling, SEO and content strategy. My true passion has always been acting/storytelling ever since I stepped foot on set to do extra work in North Carolina when I was just a few years old. This translated into a failed "workout" video that I was convinced I could sell to the mass market as an 8 year old, as well as many children's stories that are collecting dust in storage. It's been my dream to turn one of my greatest passions into daily work, so I'm actively pursuing acting with the goal of collaborating on creative projects in both online and offline mediums.

Unique traits: I'm a trained equestrian (I've ridden for 20 years, and trained/owned horses). I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Professional Speaker. I have tattoos. Adrenaline junkie (i like fast, crazy things). I can climb things with ease (obstacle courses, walls, etc). I'm good at "awkward" and dry comedy.
