Jessalyn Maguire, AEA|SAG-AFTRA, has appeared in dramatic and comedic films, webseries, and pilots as well as plays in New York City, up and down the East Coast, and in London. She is a founding partner of Assemblage of Nouns Productions and has written/collaborated, produced, and starred in all of their work.
Recently, Jessalyn took a hiatus from auditioning to focus on writing, producing, and starring in Assemblage of Nouns’ first feature film: Maggie Black. She set out to write a role that she was interested in playing in a film that she would want to see. With post-production wrapping up the film will likely hit festivals in early 2017.
Jessalyn graduated cum laude from Wellesley College with a BA in English and Theatre. She also trained at The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art and The British American Drama Academy. Jessalyn won the Wellesley Playwriting Competition, The Isabella Eastman Frisk Performance Prize for Acting, and was the recipient of the 2006 National Endowment for the Arts Short Play Award.
