"I had the idea of making a film based on a board game like "Battleship" or "Monopoly" where instead of adapting it into a big-budget extravaganza, it's literally just people playing a board game. I wanted to see if I could make an entertaining film from what is an extremely boring idea, practicing some visual style and heavy dialogue in an inclosed space." Declan Shrubb, Director and writer.
