About Brenton

Brenton started playing piano at the age of 4, growing up in a small town in Connecticut. He began writing his own music in high school. His interest in film led him to create and score his own short movies. He continued this passion for film scoring by attending college, earning a degree in Music Theory and Composition. After graduation, Brenton was awarded the Pete Carpenter Fellowship in 2011 where he was able to work alongside composer Mike Post and score episodes of Law and Order:SVU. Through this fellowship, Brenton started scoring films for actor/director Corbin Bernsen and his studio, Home Theater Films. Brenton's credits also include tracks for Disney, various web series and video games.
