Howard Osias is an experienced attorney, who possesses both a JD and an MBA. Osias has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry and is a long time member of SAG/AFTRA.
In addition to being spotlighted on the courtroom floor as a litigator, Osias has substantial experience in acting, production and distribution.
As an actor, Osias has appeared on stage in numerous plays and musicals, as well as several print and television advertisements. On stage at the Centre Theater in Los Angeles, Osias played the role of the dour dentist, Mr. Dussel, in the Pulitzer Prize play, The Diary of Anne Frank. The play was directed by the well known stage director, Edward Ludlum. Osias’ cast mates included Meg Tilly, Jeffrey Lynn, Dorothy Sinclair, and Jean Field. Osias’ performance was hailed by critics as one of the “most natural.” Additionally, Osias was cast in the featured role of Gary opposite Richard Dreyfuss in the Academy Award nominated film, The Competition. Osias co-starred as Dexter in the short film, Happy Birthday, Girl, which aired on two different cable channels. Osias originated the role of Dexter in a stage production prior to the short film being produced.
As a producer, Osias produced the aforementioned Happy Birthday, Girl, and marketed it to cable where it was featured in conjunction with It’s a Wonderful Life during Christmas seasons. In addition, Osias was instrumental in obtaining a development deal with Warner Brothers based on a story treatment he wrote for the novel Shadowboxer, and brought the concept to the studios. Osias also has experience seeking out new material for independent production companies. Osias acquired the rights to, and wrote a treatment for, the novel The Green Brain written by Frank Herbert, the critically acclaimed science fiction author of Dune.
