About Dimitri

Dimitri William Moore has produced award-winning short narrative films, music videos, human interest documentaries, and corporate promotional videos. As head of DWM Producing, LLC a San Francisco based film and video production company, Dimitri inspires artists and storytellers through a collaborative and creative project development process.
DWM Producing, in collaboration with the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) and funding support from the San Francisco Library Association, produced Point of Pride, a documentary about the Bayview/Hunter’s Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Featured at the Legacy Media Institute International Film Festival and several SF Neighborhood events, this 30-minute film describes the opportunities and challenges experienced by the Bayview/Hunter’s Point community over the last 50 years utilizing archival footage uncovered in resident’s houses and the local news channel.
Other projects include Before the Water Comes, a music video by Drea.M which won a bronze medal with the Global Music Awards and Lustro, an experimental film examining the similarities and differences of life across 5-year periods of time recognized through the Accolade Competition.
DWM Producing broadcasts their Brave New Voices liberating youths’ spoken word on social justice and life lessons through social media. Additionally, through Youth Speaks Bigger Picture program, Dimitri has supported youth by sharing health-related stories.
Currently DWM Producing is developing a web series about the genesis of addiction.
