Yummy is then killed by the older gang members in order to silence him before the authorities could find out who sent \'Yummy\' on those murder missions. The story lines used in the movie are based on true events.Nicknamed Yummy because of his love of junk food, Sandifer was a young member of the street gang the Black Disciples. After committing murder, arson and armed robbery, he was executed by fellow gang members Cragg and Derrick Hardaway.Yummy is presented in this film as a ghost who haunts the son of Cragg Hardaway (Cragg Jr) an reveals secrets about his life an murder to Cragg Jr through his dreams.He warns Cragg Jr as he reveals stories of his life and others in the \"Chicago Chronicles\" series. The remaining 11 parts continue to tell the story of Robert \"Yummy\" Sandifer an the main characters from part 1 of the Chicago Chronicles Series.Follows with the story of Shavon Dean the 14-yearold girl Yummy supposedly murdered.She is a young girl who gets caught in the haywire of growing up in a gang infested neighborhood while trying to maintain her innocents as a young girl , also the Hardaway brothers , Cragg and Derrick Hardaway who was accused of Yummy\'s murder at ages 14-16 then charged as adults for his murder.Although Cragg and Derrick are straight A students they fall through the Cracks Of the manipulative streets of Roseland adhering to the deep bond they have to their gang they have no choice , but be the bait that leads Yummy to his early demise,The events are shown in Chronological order an revealed to Cragg Jr the son of Cragg Hardaway who Yummy has this insidious effect on revealing the truth about his death, so that Yummy\'s Soul can rest once an for all .Chicago Chronicles goes deep in the spiritual aspect of Chicago gang culture with this Series.
