About Elvis

Hello! I’m Elvis Wilson and I’m a film and TV writer from Nashville, Tennessee seeking representation.

I’ve written screenplays that have been produced and distributed for film, but my current writing sample is a limited series for television called STRAWBERRY PLAINS.

STRAWBERRY PLAINS finished in the top 30 of this year’s AMC sponsored Drama Teleplay competition at the 2018 Austin Film Festival and Screenwriters Conference. AFF had a record 10,580 scripts submitted, and I was honored to be in this elite company.

Some highlights of my writing:
+ Writer, director and producer of the low-budget, award-winning thriller, FOGG (2018, distributed by RedBox).
+ One of my comedy scripts, STRIKE AND SPARE, was a finalist in National Lampoon’s comedy screenplay competition in association with Stage 32.
+ My road trip dramedy feature, DRIVING TOP DOWN, received three positive reads and placed in the top 15% in the Nicholl Fellowship.
+ Writer, director and producer of the documentary BEING LINCOLN: MEN WITH HATS (2008, distributed by the now defunct Documentary Channel and also aired on Showtime).
