DOROTHY MAYS CLARK is a native of Austin, TX and gives all praise and thanks to God for His many blessings! She is very thankful for her parents, Pastor A. W. Anthony and Sis. Fannie P. Mays, for their love, support, and encouragement knowing that they are the main reasons she is who she is today.
She is blessed to have won various acting awards with competitive stage experience. Her credits include work on the stage in over 30 plays; work behind the stage in over 15 productions; work in the studio with over 5 projects as well as various other projects and events.

In 1999, she founded AMaysn Grace Works with the mission to provide “works” (songs, poetry, dramatic works, musical theater, skits, etc.) to inspire Christian believers to go on in the name of the Lord by means of moral entertainment that will support personal examination and encourage social change. In 2012, the name was changed to Baby Girl Productions. Baby Girl Productions’ vision is to impact the entertainment industry by providing an alternative of Christian based theater productions, videos, TV shows and movies for the uplifting of God’s Kingdom.
Dorothy has been blessed to sing with The Modern Black Mass Choir of Fisk University and Extended Grace. She has also been honored to share the stage with such recognized artists as Hezekiah Walker, Beverly Crawford, Norman Hutchins, De La Soul, Diana Ross, Snoop Dogg, Chester D. T. Baldwin, The Heavy Seas and Damon Albarn. Her voice can also be heard featured on the debut projects of G.O.S.P.E.L. and Sheran Keyton & God’s Living Sacrifice. She has been honored to serve as Soloist on several programs and projects, such as The Austin Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Founders Day; The 2011 Central Texas Juneteenth Community Program; and much more…..
Dorothy holds a B.A. in Psychology from Fisk University; an Associates Degree in Career Acting from KD Studios- Actors' Conservatory of the Southwest; as well as additional studies in the Masters program in Counseling at St. Edward’s University; and is now enrolled in courses to become certified in Wedding and Event Planning. Dorothy is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and has appeared in several local, regional and national commercials, including Baptist Health Care Systems, Time Warner Cable and WalMart. But, her favorite role, to date, is being Mother to Zuri Mahogany Mays Clark.
