About Runar

Runar was born in Trondheim, Norway and began traveling
and visiting the US at an early age. Raised in an artistic and
entrepreneurial family, his father being a known musician and his
grandfather a talented painter, his passion for theater and film came
early on. In the early 90s he attended film studies
but passionately dropped out, and continued traveling and being involved in smaller
scale Independent films, publishing surrealistic poetry writings and
being involved in the family businesses in Europe. Following a series
of career paths in several Industries, even in the business side of the
NBA, he established Jackfruit Studios, an advanced Post-Production
facility and network, for Film and TV in Europe in 2011.
Working with major Film and TV Studios across Northern Europe, he
shifted his focus to the creative and joined forces with several
Photographers, Film Production Companies and Artists and began
Directing and producing Music Videos, High end Fashion Shoots, International
Corporate projects, Animation and Short Films.
In 2013 he relocated back to the US and established Jackfruit Studios
in New York and L.A. and began developing the feature film
“Jessica Frost” together with fellow Co-Producer and Writer, Cristo M.
Sanchez. Throughout the years, Runar has received numerous Awards and released a multitude
of Short films, Feature Films in various stages of production, Events, Visual projects
and even ventured into the world of Fashion branding and A-level Narrative Music Videos for
several famed Singers and Musicians. He spends his time between Los Angeles, Park City, Utah
and Europe.
