About Rebecca

Rebecca is a graduate of Vancouver Film School (Writing for Film and Television) and SAIT Polytechnic (Cinema TV Stage and Radio - Writer/Producer), and is in the final year of her B.Professional Arts - Communication Studies (Athabasca University - Online).

While Rebecca's focus is screenwriting, she has varied production skills, and an interest in directing. Some professional highlights are: Rosie Award for Best Student Film "Last Call" (Producer/P.M. - 2001), TAD on season 2 of the award-winning television series "Blackstone" (Prairie Dog Film and TV with APTN), and Art Department Trainee on "Roughing It" (Hallmark Productions), where she enjoyed a chat with James Garner.

Rebecca loves the art of film making, along with its gruelling schedule and creative camaraderie. She believes such hard working people, deserve great stories. She is interested in films that uplift and enlighten.

Unique traits: She loves to research sacred sites, travel to sacred sites, take magical photos of... you guessed it - sacred sites! She's also interested in crop circles, shamanism and swimming. Intrigued by Ancient Alien theory, Rebecca continues to be grateful for pioneering folk. The amazing minds who keep science real... and go boldly (Tesla)! She endeavours to support her own fantasy and adventure fiction, with current scientific findings. Becca ultimately strives to bring an epic mermaid tail (not a typo) to the big screen. She's been collaborating on "The Aquarians" with her sister for over 18 years. Jennifer Christenson is a professional costumer on season 2 of "The 100" (CW Network), a classically trained fine artist, who also studied special effects make-up with prosthetics creation.
