SYNOPSIS:

Oscar Gaither, attempts to turn his life around with the help of an old friend, Maureen O'Hare, a tough-minded but disorganized travel consultant. Things get complicated when Bud Green, Oscar's best friend desperately hanging on to his inner "slacker", accidentally kills an overdosing Jamaican friend and drug dealer, Johnny Miles, in the bathroom of a dangerous after-hours club. They discover their activities the night before, involved a Jamaican Kingpin and an ecstasy induced smuggling deal Maureen made with them. Investigating officers, stumble on clues while following up on the Kingpin's whereabouts. But with Johnny's dead body and a hefty stash of Jamaican weed stuffed in the trunk, Oscar, Bud and Maureen escape to the Mojave desert to gather with mutual friends to give their deceased friend a "proper" ritualistic funeral.
