Hi all, I'm a trade-published author and scriptwriter living in Chattanooga, TN. I am represented by Tracy Marchini of BookEnds Literary Agency, LLC. In 2014, my middle grade historical novel called THE MAN WHO SAW EVERYTHING earned the SCBWI Letter of Merit. In 2012, my picture book called UNCLE BILLY'S FAMILY REUNION won Lee and Low Book Publisher's New Voices Award Winner. My nonfiction historical--the first of its kind in my area--is called AFRICAN AMERICANS OF CHATTANOOGA and it features "unsung heroes from the south." It attracted NBC Studios when they were featuring the genealogy of megastar Lionel Richie. As their Lead Historical Researcher for the Chattanooga Unit, I got a backstage pass to the film set, and also got to talk with Mr. Richie and take some great photos.
**My new nonfiction title for teens called PLAYWRITING will be published by Cavendish Square Publishing and will debut in Spring, 2017.
**My new picture book titled BILL'S FAMILY REUNION will be published by Lee and Low Publishers and will debut in Spring, 2017.
**I'm a writer-for-hire for Rosen Publications
**I review titles for The New York Journal of Books.
I meet a lot of other great writers that way. Happy to be here on Stage 32. Looking forward to meeting you!
