About Tom

Highlights of my PR career have included the Oscar nomination campaigns for the scores to “The Passion of the Christ” and “March of the Penguins.” While working in Hollywood, I worked with a wide range of film & TV composers, opening up the world of press in places such as the Hollywood Reporter, The Soundtrack Channel, The Tonight Show and CNN. On the music side, I helped drive the successful Grammy nomination campaign for Chris Walden’s “Home of my Heart” CD. Through the years, I have had the honor to work with clients including “American Pie” star Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eighties Grammy winners Men At Work. My resume also includes campaigns for Sixties acid guru Dr. Timothy Leary and American Indian activist Russell Means, handling publicity for both his CD and autobiography.

As a journalist, my work continues to appear in magazines includes the well-respected music trade, “Music Connection.” I served as editor of San Diego based “Full Moon Fever.” My Bachelors degree in Magazine Journalism comes from Cal State Long Beach, where I was invited to join the faculty immediately after graduation.
