Tessa Wood

Tessa Wood

Actor and voice artist in London, England

About Tessa

I am a London based actress with nearly thirty years experience of film, theatre, TV, commercials and voice overs. One of my first breaks was in the West End production of The Rocky Horror Show. Most recently I have played second female lead in British feature film, The Last House on Cemetery Lane, and leads in shorts, Cicada and Goodnight Gigi - both in post production. Recent theatre includes David Cromer's production of Our Town at The Almeida Theatre and award-winning The Tulip Tree at the Drayton. I'm often drawn to quite painful subjects, and am most proud of my work in Five Kinds of Silence in which I played a Northern, working class housewife who was victim of sustained domestic abuse. Taking off the make-up and shining a light on the inner self is what interests me most.
