Bridget Bell McMahon
Bridget spent the last decade studying the art and craft of screenwriting, participating in programs with Women in Film & Video D.C., Maryland Writers’ Association, Dave Trottier, Marc Lapadula, BlueCat and ScreenwritingU. Her first feature-length screenplay, McLeary’s Mulligan, was a Finalist in both the Emerging Screenwriters Screenplay Competition and the Las Vegas International Screenwriting Competition. Bridget’s next feature-length screenplay, Rearranging Roxy, was a Finalist in the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay competition and a Quarter-Finalist in the Cinequest Screenplay Competition. Her latest feature, Hijacking Maryland (MissGuided) was a Finalist in the StoryPros International Screenplay Competition, a Quarter-Finalist in the ScreenCraft Action & Thriller Screenplay Competition, and is still “alive” in several other script contests. Bridget has three female-led action scripts in various stages of workshop and is a founding member of the Maryland Writers’ Association Screenplay Critique Group.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Bridget lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband and two sons.
