Steve K. Young is an award-winning Actor and Director. His directing work for the theatre includes the New York City Playwright’s Festival, The Warehouse Theatre (SC), the Capitol Theatre (NY) and The Studio Theatre (NY). He also cooks some mean grilled wings, knows how to hang duct-work and sew on a button. He has shot commercial films for BMW, PBS, AT&T, Upstate Advertising Council, Children’s Lifeline International and his daughters soccer games. Steve took a 14 year stint and taught Theatre and Film for the Art Institute of Atlanta and the only dual magnet in the state of Georgia - North Springs Charter. While there he helped the students garner International acclaim through top rated shows at the Fringe Festival in Scotland and by winning International film festivals. Steve is also a working actor. Some theatre work includes the Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre, Out of Hand Theatre and singing in his Jeep. He can be seen on the small screen on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, NBC’s Revolution, The Have’s and Have Nots, Being Mary Jane and The Game. He is the most viewed actor on his Mom’s TV – after Tony Shalhoub.
