About Marianne

Marianne Mason has performed in several films portraying a reporter harrassing James Spader in Storyville, an 18th Century French Socialite opposite Kelly McGillis in Grande Isle, and a Psychiatrist collaborating with Phylicia Rashad in False Witness. In New York and regional theater, she has played various roles such as First Lady in Executive Decision at the Hudson Guild Theatre, Wall Street Attorney in Other People’s Money; Stalin’s wife in the 12-minute monologue Nadezhda at the New Play Festival; Ms. Fellowes, a strict schoolteacher, in Night of the Iguana at Southern Rep; Nadine, a magazine editor, in the three-character play Still Life, and Nurse Debbie in a Sheila and Angelo at the New York Dramatists Guild. She is currently writing and producing a web series, Manhattan Madness, a satire based on the aftermath of a tragic midtown NY rent-stabilized building fire. She belongs to SAG and AFTRA.
