“The gripping ever changing interpretation of text for the stage, to see and experience tactile worlds before our very eyes; what’s not to like?”
Since moving to London in 2007, with nothing but £20 in his back pocket, he has worked as a fine/concept artist for film (credits include “The Dictator” and “Knight and Day” etc)and as a photographer, retoucher and designer for television and theatre (credits include “The Hour” “Spooks” “Shetland”). He is also shooting headshots and portraits for actors and musicians.
Self taught using both traditional, photographic and 2d digital techniques with a Wacom tablet and CS6 (Ps & Lr) He can often be seen with either a sketchpad or camera in hand studying the world around him, whilst creating his own. He maintains that to this day, narrative and context are integral when working.
”I believe we are all walking stories, writing new pages everyday. Some epic, some tragic and some relatively modest - but none the less sequels to previous volumes. Only when we stop for a brief moment and truly appreciate the notion, can we channel the raw creative potential we all have within us.”
