Carli Jones is a professional Melbourne based actress who has experience in performance for the Stage, Film, Commercial, Children’s Theatre/Entertainment and Simulated Patient work.
She is currently a professional actor with Secret Squirrel Productions, an acting troupe member of Underground Cinema and a Simulated Patient with both Melbourne and Monash Universities.
Her most recent professional work has been performing with Secret Squirrel Productions as Bibi Romanov in the immersive Murder Mystery event 'Paris, Spies and War' and at the Butterfly Club where she performed in 'Monorotica' with Melbourne based theatre company Theaterotica.
Carli has been fortunate to have lived and worked professionally in Italy and New York (where she made her Off Broadway debut).
Carli has an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University under Peter Oyston and has studied at the Universita’ di Bologna in Italy.
She has trained extensively in Australia, Italy and the US at the following institutions: 16th Street Actors Studio, The Actor’s Project NYC, Ward Studio (Meisner technique), Melbourne Actor’s Lab, Provokateur (Theatre mentorship program), Voice (Stephen Costan), Laban/Bartenieff movement analysis, Scuola di Teatro Colli (Italy), Shakespeare (Peter Oyston) and St Martins Youth Arts Centre.
Her favourite stage roles include Julia in her self devised show La Linea Offuscata, Leonardo’s wife in Blood Wedding, Masha in The Three Sisters, Myrrhine in Lysistrata and Laura Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie.
