Rob Lilwall is a British born adventurer who is best known for his 48,000 km Cycling Home From Siberia expedition, which took him from north-east Russia back to his home in London via such wild corners of the world as Papua New Guinea, Tibet, and Afghanistan. The expedition received coverage from over 100 media outlets globally, The Guardian called Rob’s book “a two-wheeled classic”, and National Geographic used his self-filmed video footage to make a six-part television series about the journey, where Rob was the talent. Rob has subsequently given motivational talks about the expedition to over 25,000 people in four continents.
He is now the joint Hong Kong National Director of the children’s charity, Viva, for who he will also be raising funds during the expedition.
