Luke Boyce is a young but experienced filmmaker, having been involved with the process since he was 14 years old working on a Roger Corman film with Mark Hamill in L.A. Since then he has worked on numerous short and feature length films including the 2007 short film “Sugar” which won “Best Short Film” at the Bend Film Festival and the feature length “Leading Ladies” which won the “Best of the Fest” award at Newfest in 2010.
In 2009, Luke directed his second film “Prelude” as an experimental film on the then newly released Red Camera. After premiering at the New Art Film Festival, the film received this glowing review by film critic, Jamie Newell: “The beautifully shot film is a slice-of-life story with a dark twist. I was stunned by the professional camerawork and gorgeous look of the film, and the ending left me thinking, “This guy’s going places!”
Luke currently lives in Champaign with his wife Keri and his cat, Riley.
