Emma is a freelance stage manager and have gained 7 years working in the industry working for television, events, professional and amateur theatre productions. She started as a theatre technician at Northern Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) in 2005 and has since gone on to work on high profile productions such as One Off Production's "Kerouac - and-all-that-jazz" (Edinburgh Fringe, 2008), British Red Cross's "Secret House Party - Live. Live It." (2012) National Youth Music Theatre's "The Hired Man" (Hull Truck Theatre & RADA, 2009), NAPA's "Billy Elliot" (2011) and Hull's Freedom Festival in 2011.
In the past, she has worked with One Off Productions, National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) Ensemble 52, BBC, Invisible Flock, Force-7, Hessle Theatre Company and Clear Sky Theatre. During this time, Emma studied BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts Production and progressed on to her BA (Hons) Degree in Stage Management & Technical Theatre, working on a variety of productions such as Animal Farm (2008), Twisted (2011) & The Fix (2007 & 2011). Currently, Emma is training to become a teacher in this field as well as working with the Hull College Student Union as Enterprise Officer, starting one of her biggest projects of a student based agency within the college.
