Anthony Rizzo is a New York City based guitarist, composer, producer with over 25 years of performing, writing, and recording experience. He is the main composer for the new IFC show, “Maron” , which he also co-wrote the main titles for. His past contributions to TV and film include: Beware The Gonzo (Corner Store Entertainment), Side By Side (documentary -Produced by Keanu Reeves), Days On Earth (documentary-Cassflix) and the acclaimed FX series Lights Out, where he is credited as co-writer of the main titles and writer of the “previously on.” In addition, he composed and currently performs all of the music for the new children's play, “Hatched” (Treehouse Shakers). He also co-wrote, performed and produced "What's Next" for Asics which received an AMP Awards nomination for best original song in a commercial. Anthony just completed working on music for "My Dead Boyfriend" directed by Anthony Edwards featuring Heather Graham and Katherine Moenning.
Infusing punk, blues, rockabilly, afrobeat and good old fashioned rock'n'roll, his unique stylings can be heard on recordings by the critically acclaimed indie punk trio Garden Variety (Cargo/Headhunter), Radio 4 (City Slang), Vic Thrill & the Saturn Missile, Four On The Floor, and his current Americana project, Little Embers, among others. Tracks from these bands have been featured in both film and television, including: City Island, One Eyed King, Damages, and Sleepwalk With Me.
