About Erwan

I am a French musician and composer, native of Brittany, France.

A self-made man with no particular artistic legacy, I am very young when I develop my passion and start having an ear for music. During my teenage years, I discover electronic instrumental music.
Fascinated by artists of the New Age / Electronic scene… I naturally turn to a less conventional style, outside the usual radio formats.

Very quickly fired by an insatiable musical curiosity, I discover my first film scores. It becomes obvious that this means of expression ideally corresponds to my aspiration : to write melodies filled with emotions and to glorify images.
A single leitmotiv : to act and to create with the heart, by favoring the most profound sincerity through every note.

My compositions wander from intimist melodies on the piano, to symphonic musics for orchestra, and electronic textures based on modern rhythmics.

Open to the world, I am interested in collaborating with directors on the international scene. My main concern is to make the best music possible for her/his movie and share our passion for film on a creative and human level.

Close to my roots, I enjoy my own very well equiped and professional studio in Brittany. I am self-sufficient and welcome musicians as well as directors for working sessions.
