Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Michael P. Naughton is a professional rock musician, poet and songwriter, he recently formed the original rock band '92 in the Shade.. He began writing screenplays back in 1996 and started directing short films. He is the co-founder of 13 Hands Publications, a celebrity poetry press launched in 2005. Published four books with actor Michael Madsen. He also published his first crime fiction novel in 2008 and continues to write novels and screenplays and compose film music.
