Kent Wadsworth

There are two desks in my work studio: a writing desk on one side and a fully equipped digital studio workstation on the other. These two desks represent my career interests. When I’m not writing books, screenplays, video game narrative, or editing copy, I’m on the other side of the studio at the workstation or the piano writing music. I find the two work well together -- when I’m stuck on one, the other is there to get me unstuck.

My background and credits in writing include bringing Goofy to life in animated script form for the Walt Disney TV series, Goof Troop (which continues to air a bunch in Germany for some reason -- they love der Goof!). I’ve also written children’s books, a history book on the all-American Smucker company, dozens of magazine articles, speeches, and other creative works. My editorial background includes an advanced degree and 20 years experience with top-tier brands in both food and entertainment industries. I’m passionate about many things, and recently explored one of those by illuminating the history of Tolkien's Middle Earth through the original composition and publication of an orchestral suite of music called Primeval Fantasy, which is distributed digitally worldwide for streaming and downloads.
