About Jane

Jane Therese is a 2020 AMPAS Nicholl Fellows, an award winning screenwriter and photojournalist. Her storytelling explores the backyard of cultural archetypes and relationships within social customs and beliefs. This gives rise not only to visual content but transfers into her narrative work as well. She is a member of NYWIFT, NPPA. A native of Southern California, she now resides along the Delaware River in Bucks County, PA. Jane has traveled to Haiti documenting the effects of the Duvalier regime, worked with Indigenous people and displaced families in America, as well as shepherded the project, Breaking the Silence of Autism. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Newsweek, Trenton Times, and in international publications in Japan, Paris, and London.
