WB Brown II, has been an entertainment fixture since his days of radio, in which he got his start working as the gospel music director for Washington Sunday Best, a Gospel Radio Show, aired every Sunday on WHUR 96.3 FM, with Patrick Ellis. WBBII was responsible for assisting with the producing of the show, concentrating on format consistency by overseeing the station’s gospel music selection, music library maintenance ,and deejaying and scheduling music for play along. He also researched current material used for conducting interviews for guest appearances of artist. With all of that, this would catch the attention of Radio One's CEO Cathy Hughes, who would offer him a position at her DC and Maryland stations as Promotion/Program Director. While also working has a Police Officer/Detective, with the Metropolitan Police Department, in Washington, DC.

WBBII began to pursue his passion for acting. He continuously trained on his craft while acquiring the skills that would help generate opportunities to build his acting career.

After serving 20 years as a Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington,DC., WBBII took a early retirement to take up acting full time. He has able to utilize his experiences to bring forth life in characters when taking on various roles.

WBBII has have been afforded the opportunity to play roles which have allowed his knowledge, talent and charismatic personality to develop recurring characters on shows such as The Wire: Season 5, Law and Order: SVU, The Shield. Along with being casted in feature films such as: Below the Beltway, Out Of Time, Pride & Glory, Clowns, Jamesy Boy, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and a recurring role on Investigation Discovery TV series: Nightmare Next Door: Skeletons in the Closet.

WB Brown II is also a current active member of SAG/AFTRA (Washington DC.)
