As a native Angelino ( we do exist), I saw a bit of the inner workings of the entertainment business and it definitely piqued my interest. Especially for the inherent love of movies, T.V and music I had growing up. At first I didn't know which road to take, music or visual storytelling. I eventually turned toward television and movies, but music will never leave my soul.
My first real gig was a NBC page, which I enjoyed thoroughly (okay, mostly) and propelled me into my first production assistant job on a NBC sitcom. I through a lot of different production gigs, while I wrote and created on the side. I harnessed a lot of knowledge and experience through working on set and in the production office on a movie or a TV show. I love to collaborate with like-minded creators. I believe the more creative juice being squeezed, the more fantastic the project will taste. Over time I have also learned aspects of the business side as well. It is important to understand how to attain some publicity, momentum and what markets or niche audiences that will likely support or watch your work.
