Maria Elisa has more than 7 years of experience as a Recording, Mixing and Sound Design Engineer. She also aspires to become a Music Producer in the future.
Initiated her Audio studies in the University of Chile back in 2003. In 2005, she decides to move back to Colombia were she enrolls as a Music and Audio student in Javeriana University.
She has worked for talented Colombian artists from different musical genres such as: Gatoblanco, Farina, Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, Mónica Albán, María Linares, Juan Camilo Arboleda, Alejandra Jiménez, Live Clue, Ella Empezó and many others.
Maria Elisa currently works for the Colombian Record Label "El Ritmo Records" as mixing engineer for their signed artists, which include: Jhon Black, Melymel “La Mermelada” and La Perla.
Since August 2012, Maria Elisa is a Recording Graduate Student at Middle Tennessee State University located on the Nashville Area. She was awarded with full tuition and works as a Graduate Teacher Assistant in the Recording Industry Department.
Sound Supervisor for reality show "Protagonistas de Nuestra Tele" aired on 2010 by RCN TV and watched by over 10 million people. Worked for Colombian TV series "El Regreso a la Guaca" aired by RCN TV in 2009 and "Los Caballeros Las Prefieren Brutas" aired by Sony Enterntainment Television Latinoamerica in 2010. Sound Designer for "Undertow (Contracorriente)" chosen as the Peruvian Official Selection film for the Oscar's Foreign Film Category in 2009.
Also, worked as Recording Assistant Engineer for the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra's album "Mestizajes" with Grammy Awarded Engineer Jose Pupo in 2009.
Live Sound Engineer for "Ansío los Alpes, Así Nacen los Lagos" performance by Colombian's renowned theatre company MAPA Teatro, presented on international theatre festivals in Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
Since 2007, has worked as University Professor teaching several courses related with Audio Recording, Post Production and Music.
