Kennedy Hill is a short film set in the 1930s of America. Grace, a 13 year-old girl, is being courted for marriage by her life-long, next door neighbor. Suddenly, he breaks it off because he finds out a concealed truth - Grace is adopted. This tightly kept secret reveals more than that her adoptive parents are sterile but that she is a product of an unacceptable, unwed French-Canadian and Irish couple. Heartbroken and deceived, Grace journeys away from home to find her birth parents. During this excursion Grace discovers who her true family is.
