About Myles

Myles Warden grew up in the small town of Decatur, Illinois. This small town environment enabled him to fall in love with truly connecting with people from all walks of life and positively affecting their lives. Also, being an only child and a middle child in a large family he learned to relate to people much older and younger than him early in life. Later in life he’d use this gift as a writer and entertainer in various mediums.
Seeking to give her son the best shot at success Myles’ mother moved them to Atlanta, Georgia when he was thirteen years old. While at Marietta High School he participated in the International Baccalaureate program which included advanced level English classes. This is where he fell in love with creative writing. He also interned at a new label under Def Jam called C.T.E. It was here Myles learned the dedication, persistence, and patience it takes to work in the entertainment world.
While attending Valdosta State University majoring in Mass Media and Communications, Myles worked as the official DJ and entertainment manager of a local nightclub in Valdosta, Georgia. He also worked for major record labels such as Grand Hustle, Block Ent. (a label under Sean Comb’s Bad Boy Records), and Def Jam itself doing promotions and marketing. He created a brand for himself by identifying what audiences were being ignored and catering to them. Another tool he’d later apply to screenwriting.

After learning the essentials to transforming a song into a hit, Myles pursued his passion for story telling in the form of song writing. To date he’s written hundreds of songs for some of the top producers and artists in the world.
In 2013 Myles Warden took the ultimate leap of faith and moved across the country to pursue a craft he had been discreetly honing for years. This craft was screenwriting. Not only did he believe it to be his correct path and purpose but a preacher whose church he was attending for the very first time told him he was destined to be in Los Angeles creating life changing and inspiring film and television. Months later in February 2013 he arrived. Before moving he saw there was a need for a specific type of comedy that he grew up on from writers and producers such as John Hughes, Miller-Boyett, and Tom Werner and he wanted to bring that style back to the forefront of comedy. He also noticed most children shows weren’t enjoyable to parents and the adult shows were too racy for kids thus television the entire family could enjoy and relate to was hard to come by. With an uncanny ability to relate to children and adults alike he strives to change this and help bring families back together with shows and films that are pleasures for the whole family. Myles also wants to cater to a large portion of the African American audience that is highly ignored even by other African American content creators.
