Michelle Macedo

Michelle Macedo is an actress, singer-songwriter () and entertainment host for AfterBuzz TV. She was born and raised in Pasadena, Ca. She began her acting career at 6 months old with her identical twin sister and has been dedicated ever since. She has constantly attended to her education in Acting. She attended a Shakespeare intensive program with Oxford University in England. She is a recent graduate of Emerson College where she received a B.F.A. in Acting.

In Boston, she honed her skills while learning techniques such as the Meisner Technique, Linklater Voice Technique and the Alexander Technique. Along with a rigorous class schedule she spent most of her time still finding time for independent projects she believes in.

She was a co-founder of Emersons up-and-coming Random Arts Delegation, which features and assortment of performing artists. She has also performed with Southern Californias activist {AMAR} Collective ().

Recently, Michelle starred in and wrote the score for the pilot for the show Age Appropriate (), which was nominated Best Pilot at the Independent Television Awards.
Michelle also starred in another sit-com pilot Browne at Midnight. Which was produced by Kevin S. Bright. She was lucky enough to play the role of the Middle Eastern exchange student.

Since she has been back in action in Los Angeles she has taken over the acting and music scene. She has been featured in such projects as the upcoming CBS film Nefarious. Michelle and her identical twin have been starring min the TV Show One Day by Crackhorse Productions playing Twin assassins


Michelle actively pursues her interests with vigor and commitment. Currently she is exploring her hosting skills. She co-hosts a podcast radio show with her twin sister on Maria Menounos' AfterBuzz TV which is a network exclusively for observing and continuing a discussion about each television show we see today. While she works on mustiple shows she puts most of her energy into Idol and has a solid fan base. Afterbuzz is now the largest new media platform on the web and fan's #1 source for after-show entertainment.

Her newest exciting project is a television pilot called Burnside. It is an original show about women. By women. For everyone. The pilot which is in pre-production is about
four young women learn that being a modern day woman, is nothing compared to living with one. Michelle is starring in it and putting working on it with lovely ladies such as

Along with her budding acting career her original songs on her two albums have received great praise in the music world and is currently being played on a myriad of key radio stations across the country. She performs live with her identical twin sister all around Los Angeles such as the Hotel Cafe, House of Blues and the Viper Room.
