Dan Bronzite

Director and screenwriter in London, England

About Dan

I originally worked in graphic design and computer graphics before pursuing my passion for cinema and a full time career in film. In 1995 I moved to the Big Apple to study at the New York Film Academy where I produced and directed my first short Finders, Keepers – a Hitchcockian film-noir which picked up numerous awards at international festivals including "Best Production" at Mesnil-Le-Roi, France.

I have since written several feature specs for the US and UK markets and have been commissioned for various novel adaptations including Ella by Uri Gellar, Driven by Andrea Badenoch and Filth by Irvine Welsh.

In 2000 I directed my second short Absolution; a psychological thriller which also played the world festival circuit with great success winning various awards including "Best Male Performance" for its lead at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

After Working Title Films released my supernatural teen horror Long Time Dead (starring Lukas Haas, Marsha Thomason and Alec Newman), I sold another horror spec Do or Die to Michael Kuhn’s Qwerty Films which made the “Brit List” and is currently in development.

I am now working with actor and producer Deepak Verma on an Indian teen horror and developing a gritty psychological thriller Urge with producer Sam Alani which will be my directorial debut feature.
