Rory is deeply in love with Amanda, but Amanda no longer loves Rory and wants to break up. Suddenly, while she’s breaking up with Rory, several dangerous people show up kidnapping or chasing them both, desperate to obtain something that one of them might have. After all of the twists and adventures Amanda decides she is still very much in love with Rory and doesn't want to break up with him after all.

SYNOPSIS:

Imagine an exciting secret agent or action hero movie, but instead of the spy or action hero; imagine two everyday people who get caught on a roller-coaster ride of action, intrigue, and danger and must survive. At its core "Adrenaline" is also a love story. The story has several twists that will surprise and please the audience. It also has great characters including the leads; Rory and Amanda, who grow through the story. Also a scary rapper/go-between named Dezra Clarke, who appears unexpectedly several times in the story and who may or may not be what he seems. There is a classic movie device in the story; a Macguffin, in this case a hard-drive, that everyone is after. The story begins with the death of Amanda Gile's boss; the catalyst. After the funeral Amanda Giles meets with her boyfriend, Rory, at a restaurant, to break up with him. She has fallen out of love with Rory and is tired of his endless schemes and adventures; what she calls "a roller-coaster", but Rory Craig, is still hopelessly in love with Amanda. In the middle of the breakup they are kidnapped by a dangerous man. While they are prisoners in the dangerous man's car, another group attacks to also kidnap Rory and Amanda, but the police intervene. Amanda and Rory are then interviewed, not only by the police, but by the FBI, because a crooked banker is involved! When they finally leave the police they find Amanda's car has been stolen, and then that her apartment has been ransacked. Amanda blames Rory for everything and tells him that she hates him! Amanda is beside herself with anger and blame, which increases as things become worse. Over the next two days Rory and Amanda are kidnapped and escape several times, first by jumping out of a jet, later by jumping off a terrorist's yacht and riding off on jet skis, then from several kidnappers at a bank, and finally running out of a night club under gunfire. Along the way they discover everyone is looking for a hard-drive that belonged in Amanda's dead boss's computer . The hard drive contains all the names, accounts, and passwords for all of the crooked bankers, criminals and terrorists who he secretly represented and invested money for over the years; information worth billions of dollars. Everyone believes that Amanda has the hard-drive. All of the trouble is because of Amanda, not Rory. At first Amanda hates Rory, but soon she softens as he repeatedly tries to protect her, often being hurt, and finally she falls in love with him all over again. In the end, safe and in love with each other, they find out that Dezra Clarke is a Federal Agent who has always had the hard-drive, Amanda's boss is still alive, and there are large rewards for several of the criminals who have been caught.
