Ryan J. Harrison

I'm Ryan J. Harrison, a sound engineer/ artist currently living in Manchester (U.K), specialising in sound and music for the moving image. I hold a vast and prolific portfolio with my name on feature length & short films, documentaries, interviews, advertisements, radio, theatre and games.

I attended the University of Huddersfield where I studied BA (Hons) Music Technology, and it was there that I found my love for writing music and designing sound for film and game. I find the perfect blend of audio and visual to be highly exciting and love what the addition of high quality sound can do for great visuals. I pride myself on being an audio nerd.

I specialise in professional sound/ foley design, musical arrangement and composition, location recording/ ADR/ voice over and vocal dubbing. From my collection of microphones and audio equipment, you can count on fantastic results both on location and in the studio. I'm self taught on piano, electric/acoustic/bass guitar, drums, autoharp and violin and strive to be the best composer, arranger and designer when writing musical pieces or designing sound and foley.
