About Karl

In the field of television production, no schedule is more rigorous than producing for a daily show. That’s exactly what Karl did for twelve years working for the venerable CBS Owned and Operated CBS-5 TV station in San Francisco.

He worked for the nightly Emmy Award winning program “Evening Magazine” which eventually became “Eye on the Bay”, a noteworthy transition that allowed its staff to focus the variety of its topics. It is here where Karl cut his teeth and developed into an elite senior producer dutifully filing stories from across town and around the world, earning two Emmys of his own in the process. Most recently, Karl began working on a brand new series called "World Access" (airing Travel Channel - Spring 2015) which allowed him to travel the country gaining access to places rarely seen by the public.

From local to international filming, Karl’s unflappable personality is anchored in confidence, competence and congeniality. Having been steeled under the intense pressure of daily deadlines, juggling international datelines and fostering global ties, all in a personal quest for insightful storytelling, Karl is a broadcast allegiant of the highest integrity.

Now as a Producer-at-Large, Karl shares his expertise plying his trade around the country and the world to help enterprises tell their stories.
