I have had a varied and wide ranging career.
I started as a theatre technician at Dunedin’s Fortune Theatre, the southernmost professional theatre in New Zealand. From this awesome start I became the theatre's technical lighting and sound designer, before moving into the field of management. For several years I worked with local, national and international shows, overseeing their designs, implementations and performances.
Then, at the age of 25, I changed careers completely and studied to become an ecologist, before working for New Zealand's Ministry of Fisheries. I was inevitably drawn back to the arts sector, and in 2011 I completed my Certificate qualification from the New Zealand Film and Television School. Since then, I have worked with many different organisations and people in both New Zealand and Australia.
