I have been songwriting for over 30 years and decided to go professional and submit songs for sync licensing for ads, tv and film. My musical influences vary from classical to rock and everything in between. I use to perform live but when I decided to go pro I focus more on behind the scenes. I am in the process of recording more material in the pop, nu soul and dramatic but I can write in other genres too. I am working at starting schooling for a recording engineering certificate in the new year. I would like to expand my network of music supervisors, producers, a/r agents and musicians and look forward to hearing from you! To be honest I'm pretty new to music licensing, however I've been pouring over books, attending webinars and asking tons of questions, etc so I am familiarizing myself not only with the creative process but the legal jargon. I diligently research subjects I am unfamiliar with when I am submitting (if I don't have something already written) so I can get the right words and mood for whatever the project needs. New music is constantly whirling through my head. Feel free to check out a sampling at:
or visit my website at www.gllo.co where you can sign up to hear new tracks as they are added.
Unique traits: I like to think outside of the box when it comes to music composition at the same time finding that hook and keeping it catchy. I have a 4 octave range (so I am able to sing soprano, alto and tenor) and take vocal lessons to expand it even further.
