I am a 65 y/o retired/disabled general surgeon. I have had a lifelong interest in movies and more recent interest in history, particularly in colonial, family, and Revolutionary War History and screenplay writing. I work part time now as a researcher in cardiovascular genetics with a special interest in obesity and the metabolic syndrome. I am a baritone and sing in a congregational choir. I also play the violin. I have a daughter who is is a Tony Award winning and Grammy nominated singer, and a son who is a professor of art and animation. I am currently writing a screenplay on the life James Otis, Jr. that highlights his role in providing the legal foundation for the American Revolution.
