I worked as an actress after graduating from drama school in 2000 in theatre, film and TV for about 10 years. During this time I also studied script writing, did several short unpaid production jobs and read a lot about filmmaking. I've always felt the desire of wanting to create my own stories and really enjoyed seeing a production through from start to finish.
In 2006 I did a complete edit and rewrite on a TV comedy series for an independent company based in London. Unfortunately, funding was pulled and it didn’t make production stage, but this gave me valuable experience and my first paid job as a writer.
From 2008-2011 I focused mostly on work as a fight coordinator. I worked with the UK's leading dramatic action company RC-Annie, filming at Three Mill Studios, London, and fight directed Duncan Pow (Holby City, 1999) and Louis Emerick (Layer Cake, 2004) in the short film Tomorrow by Luke Bradford.
From 2011 I began focusing more on scriptwriting, and co-wrote a TV pilot and fantasy film that are now both with editors. In late 2012 I formed Red Storm Productions with Samantha Price, writing and directing for our company. In the summer we filmed our first short which is currently being edited.
I'm now writing our next short and have a couple of acting jobs lined up for summer 2015.
