Fernando “Jann” Reyes, Jr. is a well experienced Young Top Management Executive, an international multi-awarded professional, and a Strategic Marketing, Entertainment, Special Events and Academic Management Consultant who has been actively involved in the local and international business industry for more than 10 years.
His diverse corporate management background includes being the Vice President for Sales & Marketing and a former member of the Executive Committee of the Call Center Academy (Philippines’ Pioneer & Leader in Call Center and BPO Training). In the academe, he was formerly the School Director & Consultant at the International Academy for Film and Television (Asia’s Premier Film School) - an affiliate of Bigfoot Entertainment & Fashion TV, a Hollywood outfit located in the tropical islands of Mactan, Cebu Philippines which has several offices located in Los Angeles, Singapore & Hongkong.
His portfolio also includes being the former Head of Business Development of Informatics Education Ltd. Philippines (Singapore’s No.1 International IT School) and School Director & Chief Operating Officer / Admissions Manager of AMA Computer University of the Southern Tagalog Campuses (Philippines’ First and Largest IT University). He was also a Professor of Mass Communication, Marketing Management, Commerce & MBA at the University of Perpetual Help System, AMA Computer University, Informatics Philippines, and Westbay College that are known to be as some of the top and leading colleges and universities in the Philippines.
In addition, Mr. Reyes has extensive experience in the Media & Broadcast Industry in the Philippines. His stint includes being an FM Radio / Club DJ & correspondent of Nation Broadcasting Corporation, Killerbee 103.1 FM (Affiliate of Magic 89.9 WTM FM), Power 93.5 FM - Southern Tagalog's No. 1 Pop Music Station & a talent Host / DJ of some of the large scale events handled co-produced by GMA 7 Inc. - Philippines No.1 Television Network.
Furthermore, he was the Special Events Manager of Elite Entertainment Inc., a local partnership in Manila Philippines, which provides multi-national companies in the Philippines with the Top Local and International Artists for their special events. The company handles modeling projects, commercial endorsements, events management, marketing communication & advertising assignments. Some of its clients include Unilever Philippines, Proctor & Gamble Philippines, San Miguel Corporation, Walker Philippines, Ever & Robinson's Malls, ABS-CBN 2, GMA 7 Network Inc. & the SM Supermalls.
Academically, he prepared himself professionally by finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication then pursued a Professional Teaching Certification Program. Apart from that, he also holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (Ateneo-Regis Executive MBA Program) at the Ateneo de Manila University - Graduate School of Business. He attended an intensive course in Strategic Leadership and Management at the Institute of Leadership and Management in the United Kingdom. He is also an associate member of the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE), Philippine Association of Graduate School Educators (PAGE), & the Ateneo Graduate School of Business Alumni Association Incorporated (AGSBAAI). He is currently a Doctorate Communication Scholar & pursuing Doctor of Communications Program at the University of the Philippines – Open University.
